Albion International collaborates with international partners ranging from non–government and community–based organisations through to bilateral and multilateral agencies including the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Food Programme (WFP) and the World Bank.
These collaborations are focused on the design, implementation and evaluation of health programs.
In recognition of its contribution domestically and internationally, Albion was designated in 2006 as a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Capacity Building and Health Care Worker Training in HIV/AIDS Care, Treatment and Support.
The terms of reference for Albion focus on working with local agencies and in-country counterparts to undertake capacity building activities, in line with WHO strategic directions, for the optimum delivery of care, treatment and support services. Albion was successfully redesignated for a third term in 2014 for a further four-year period.
